Job DescriptionThe Lead Compensation Consultant will be based in Ada, Michigan. The position will report to the Manager, Corporate & America's Compensation and will be responsible for all compensation matters and job evaluation (job leveling) for our Research & Development and Supply Chain functions.
The successful individual will
Consult with leaders at all levels, providing recommendations for job design, leveling and pay
Develop, implement and administer compensation and incentive policies, procedures, practices, and programs
Lead compensation and variable pay projects
Design and analyze job descriptions and specifications
Apply job evaluation techniques to establish equitable compensation rates within the organization as compared with external market levels
Develop and review market based salary structures
Conduct surveys and studies of labor markets to determine compensation trends
They will be experienced in
Managing and leading complex projects
Performing market analyses
Organizational and job analyses
Incentive plan design and administration
They will possess
Senior level proficiency in theoretical concepts and applied principles and practices of compensation
Minimum eight years of experience working in compensation
Strong ability to partner with cross-functional business partners
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Professional certification in compensation preferred
