CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct roof surveys and meet with clients to assess requirements, take measurements, photos, and collect other relevant data necessary for accurate estimating.
Attend all pre-bid meetings to thoroughly understand project scope and identify opportunities to achieve the best possible results for quality, schedule, and financial targets of the client.
Ensure projects are estimated according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes.
Submit all necessary RFIs and clarification requests.
Work with suppliers and production team to gather and keep up-to-date, labor, material, logistic costs and needs.
Produce comprehensive submittal packages outlining the scope of work, inclusions, exclusions Work with sales team to identify appropriate roofing solutions while ensuring reasonable profit margins are maintained Keep open line of communication with clients and maintain a professional working relationship Assist in contract negotiations to ensure work project requirements are met and align with how the project was estimated.
Conduct quality hand-off meetings with the operations team to and meet project requirements and milestones.
Maintain metrics related to quality and timeliness of estimates Review and utilize historical job-cost data to determine and maintain accurate rate tables and estimating.
Maintain technical knowledge by reviewing technical publications and attending educational workshops Provide technical support and guidance to the team as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
