Internal Auditor
The Internal Auditor reports to the Internal Audit Manager. This is an entry level internal audit position and is responsible for assisting in evaluating internal controls of worldwide operations and recommending cost effective solutions. Specifically, this position will assist in planning and determining the scope and objectives of audits, prepare audit work plans and report audit findings and recommendations to Management. Assist in developing scope, performing testing and developing findings under the direction of Internal Audit management
Assist in determining and recommending improvement/cost effective solutions to Management to enhance internal controls and efficiency
Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of business processes and information systems operations
Present and communicate findings to management and recommend corrective actions needed to improve operations and processes
Take responsibility for an initiative to improve department operations
Approach work assignments with an enterprise-wide, business perspective and delivers results
The accomplished individual will demonstrate progressive experiences in
2-4 years progressive experience in audit, finance, or operational role(s)
Ability to apply broad business perspective and knowledge to achieve results
Ability to develop and deliver formal written audit reports to Management
Ability to work effectively with and to influence decisions
Strong decision making/problem solving skills, excellent communication skills, flexibility, leadership and initiative in moving projects forward and effecting change
Strong data analysis skills
Ability to travel 30-35%, mostly international
An outstanding professional will have the following credentials
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or General Business Administration (required)
CPA, CIA, and/or CISA certifications (preferred)
